What Youll Do
As our Outside Sales Representative Sudbury, youll be the face of VEGA in your territory, building lasting customer relationships and providing expert guidance on our industry leading measurement solutions. Youll partner with clients across various industries, helping them navigate complex processes with smart, intuitive technology. From visiting customer sites to collaborating with technical teams, youll make a real impact by connecting people to the tools they need to succeed.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Manage and grow your sales territory by identifying new opportunities and nurturing existing relationships
- Act as a trusted advisor, offering knowledgeable and responsive support to clients
- Collaborate with internal teams to deliver customized solutions and ensure excellent service
- Provide product demos, site visits, and technical support as needed
- Maintain accurate records of activities, opportunities, and forecasts in CRM
- Take on additional projects or initiatives to support the team and drive growth
Qualifications and Skills
- Post-secondary education in Engineering, Business, or a related field
- Minimum 2 years of experience in external sales, preferably in industrial automation or instrumentation
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Organized, driven, and comfortable working independently
- Must reside within the territory (Sudbury area)
- Comfortable with heights, site visits, and safety procedures (fall arrest/confined space certifications required training will be provided)
- Valid drivers license
