Career Opportunity

Formula Honda is currently seeking a Used Car Sales Manager to join their team! The Used Car Sales Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our pre-owned vehicle sales operations, including inventory management, sales team leadership, customer relations, and ensuring profitability. This role requires a strong understanding of the used vehicle market, excellent sales skills, and a hands-on approach to managing day-to-day operations.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and motivate a team of sales associates to meet and exceed sales targets.

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to maximize profitability and inventory turnover.
  • Oversee the daily operations of the used car sales department, ensuring smooth and efficient processes.
  • Ensure the used vehicle inventory is well-maintained, properly priced, and displayed to attract customers.
  • Manage customer interactions, resolving issues, handling complaints, and ensuring high customer satisfaction.
  • Train, coach, and support sales team members to improve their skills and performance.
  • Monitor and analyze sales performance, market trends, and competitor activity to adjust strategies as needed.
  • Develop and manage sales goals, performance metrics, and incentive programs for the team.
  • Oversee the preparation of sales reports, tracking performance against goals, and providing regular updates to senior management.
  • Ensure compliance with all legal and ethical sales practices, including proper documentation and disclosures.
  • Foster a positive and professional work environment focused on teamwork and customer satisfaction.
  • Pricing, Merchandising and Preparing all pre-owned inventory for sale online and in store.
  • Appraising potential trade-in vehicles and assigning wholesale values
  • Review the monthly goals and target with General Manager and discuss areas for improvement.

Qualifications

  • Experience in the same or a similar role is required.
  • OMVIC license.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word and other computer systems.
  • Possess a valid G driver's license and a clean driving record.
  • Professional demeanor, appearance, and communication skills.
  • Ability to effectively manage and engage a team.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Process-oriented.
