We are seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Account Manager to join a dynamic and well-established organization in the electrical industry. The successful candidate will play a key role in managing client relationships, developing new business, and delivering value-added product solutions across a wide customer base.
Key Responsibilities:
- Engage with current and prospective clients to identify needs and recommend tailored product solutions
- Proactively initiate outbound communication to develop new business opportunities
- Respond to inbound customer inquiries, process orders, and provide timely, solution-oriented support
- Maintain and grow existing accounts while actively opening new ones
- Build pricing proposals, prepare project bids, and follow up on quotations
- Offer basic technical guidance on product options and applications
- Collaborate with suppliers on custom or non-standard product opportunities
- Continuously expand product knowledge and stay informed on new developments
- Establish strong, trust-based relationships that encourage repeat business and long-term partnerships
- Proficient in Microsoft Office tools (Outlook, Word, Excel)
- Prior experience in inside sales or account management within the Canadian electrical industry is considered an asset
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills
- Proven ability to build long-term client relationships with a solutions-oriented approach
- Strong organizational abilities with keen attention to detail and the ability to multitask
- Technically inclined, with the ability to quickly learn product specifications and applications
- Experience in preparing project quotations, bid packages, and client-facing presentations
- Knowledge of the electrical distribution or manufacturing industry is a strong asset
