We are seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Account Manager to join a dynamic and well-established organization in the electrical industry. The successful candidate will play a key role in managing client relationships, developing new business, and delivering value-added product solutions across a wide customer base.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Engage with current and prospective clients to identify needs and recommend tailored product solutions
  • Proactively initiate outbound communication to develop new business opportunities
  • Respond to inbound customer inquiries, process orders, and provide timely, solution-oriented support
  • Maintain and grow existing accounts while actively opening new ones
  • Build pricing proposals, prepare project bids, and follow up on quotations
  • Offer basic technical guidance on product options and applications
  • Collaborate with suppliers on custom or non-standard product opportunities
  • Continuously expand product knowledge and stay informed on new developments
  • Establish strong, trust-based relationships that encourage repeat business and long-term partnerships
Qualifications:
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office tools (Outlook, Word, Excel)
  • Prior experience in inside sales or account management within the Canadian electrical industry is considered an asset
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills
  • Proven ability to build long-term client relationships with a solutions-oriented approach
  • Strong organizational abilities with keen attention to detail and the ability to multitask
  • Technically inclined, with the ability to quickly learn product specifications and applications
  • Experience in preparing project quotations, bid packages, and client-facing presentations
  • Knowledge of the electrical distribution or manufacturing industry is a strong asset
  • A collaborative mindset with a strong team spirit and willingness to support broader team goals
