Reporting to the Lead Project Manager, the Technical Project Manager is responsible for managing and tracking the successful execution of technical projects across the organization. This role ensures projects align with the project charter, customer requirements, and organizational priorities. The Technical Project Manager plays a key role in resource coordination, schedule management, and progress reporting while fostering collaboration across internal and external stakeholders.
This position is based in our Kelowna, BC, office, which is a requirement to ensure collaboration with the broader team.
As a Technical Project Manager, you will:
- Plan, organize, and oversee technical projects from initiation to completion, ensuring they align with project charters, customer expectations, and timelines.
- Track project progress, manage schedules, and prioritize resources to ensure milestones are met on time and within budget.
- Facilitate communication between project teams, customers, and internal stakeholders to ensure alignment and resolve issues proactively.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to monitor project dependencies and provide updates on project priorities and risks.
- Ensure all project deliverables meet the defined project scope, customer requirements, and organizational objectives.
- Conduct regular project status updates, including reporting progress, risks, and resource needs to leadership and stakeholders.
- Support proposal preparation and resource planning by providing input on timelines and technical feasibility.
- Maintain accurate project records and documentation for tracking and reporting purposes.
What You Bring
Candidate Must Have's
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in computer science, business, engineering or related technical discipline
- A minimum of 2 years experience managing multi-stakeholder projects
- PMP Certification or equivalent
This will make you stand out:
- Aerospace domain experience
- Contract execution experience
- Experience working with satellite networks (e.g. Iridium, Inmarsat, Starlink)
- Experience working within a quality management system (e.g. AS9100, ISO9001)

This position is for an existing vacancy within our Contract Execution team.
The salary range for this role is $90,000 - $110,000 CAD. The range posted is a guide and may not represent the compensation offered to the successful candidate. Compensation is based on the skills, knowledge, experience, and qualifications brought to the role.
