The ideal Visitor Experience Representative is eager to assist customers/visitors. When communicating, you are patient, empathic, and enthusiastic. You are, by nature, a problem-solver. You can troubleshoot and will conduct research if you lack sufficient information to answer consumer/visitor concerns or inquiries – you just love helping others!
NOTE: You must already have legal permission to work in Canada.
What you'll experience in the Distillery Historic District:

What you'll be doing:
- Welcome everyone to the Distillery Historic District (DHD) and build an unforgettable experience for them that inspires them to return and recommend DHD to others.
- Ensure customers/visitors are guided to products and services requested in a timely and accurate manner.
- Have an understanding of all the products and services offered in the Distillery Historic District and knowledgeably handle all customer/visitor questions or comments confidently.
- Maintain knowledge of all company policies and procedures with high emphasis placed on public health and safety.
- Resolve issues, assess customer needs and coordinate all tours/orders/activities in a timely and professional manner.
- Answer incoming calls from customers, vendors and colleagues and redirect as necessary.
- Maintaining a log of visitor requests/concerns ensuring accuracy and completeness of required information to facilitate the constant growth and improvement of services and information we provide.
- Maintaining a positive and professional attitude at all times while representing the Distillery Historic District.
- Participating in customer service training as required.
- May be requested to undertake other related duties on a periodic basis.
What you'll bring to the visitor kiosk:
- EXPERIENCE. Minimum one (1) year experience in a fast-paced tourist site is preferred but not required as training will be provided.
- POSITIVITY! You're a bubbly person who enjoys connecting with others.
- A PEOPLE PERSON. Exceptional relationship building and communication skills are essential to this role.
- SOLUTION-ORIENTED. A strong problem solver with an insatiable desire to positively impact restaurant reviews.
- ADAPTABLE. Ready and willing to thrive in a busy, ever-changing environment.
- EDUCATION. You've studied Tourism, Marketing or Hospitality and are actively building your career in one (or all!) of these fields.
