Reporting to the Senior Manager, Operations and Risk Management and consistent with the Mission, Values and polices of St.Amant, the Operations Support is a critical role in ensuring the success of St.Amant business and operations.
The Operations Support works collaboratively with partnered programs while offering employees respectful customer service. The Operations Support will support workplace safety and health, first aid and AED kits, fit testing's, hearing conservation, Operations inventory control, access card and key management as well as, administrative duties related to risk and emergency management.

QUALIFICATIONS
Educational:
- Relevant post-secondary education or a combination of related training and work experience
- Certification or training in Occupational Safety and Health is an asset
Professional:
- Minimum of three years' recent and directly related experience to the duties of the position
- Experience and knowledge of Workplace Safety and Health Legislation
- Experience in the use of Microsoft Office, Virtual Meeting software and/or other related programs
- Experience working in a non-profit and/or Healthcare organization is an asset
Personal:
- Ability to work with minimal supervision, as well as work as a collaborative team player in a team environment
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Innovative, growth-focused mindset
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to maintain a positive and productive working relationships with humility and self-awareness

Program/Service Support
Duties include:
- Provides support to the Senior Manager, Operations and Risk Management on all aspects related to the Workplace Safety and Health Committee including scheduling, coordinating, organizing and gathering material for Committee meetings, coordinating the preparation and distribution of agendas and related items, ensuring accurate minute taking and record keeping, as well as completing quarterly inspection reviews (including input into HIPPO)
- Monitor and replenish first aid and AED Kits
- Responsible to track and perform fit testing on applicable employees
- Provides administrative support for the Hearing Conservation Program
- Monitors, re-orders and counts disbursed inventory items residing in Operations/Facilities as required
- Supports the Senior Manager, Operations and Risk Management by performing administrative functions related to risk and emergency management
- Responsible for access card management and key management
- Monitors the daily linen count and provides associated weekly reports and other related duties as assigned
