Now Hiring: Intermediate Civil Engineer - Site Plan Team Supervisor
Location: Durham Region, ON | Full-Time, Permanent
Lead and supervise the Site Plan Team on a wide range of civil engineering projects related to site plan applications, building permits, and site alteration permits
Oversee and review grading plans, servicing designs, and stormwater management reports
Coordinate with clients, contractors, and municipal officials to facilitate permit approvals and ensure compliance with regulatory standards
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior staff
Support the preparation of proposals, project updates, and detailed engineering reports for stakeholders
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
Licensed Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) in Ontario
Minimum 5 years of civil engineering experience with a focus on site development
Strong proficiency in AutoCAD and relevant civil engineering design tools
In-depth understanding of municipal and provincial development regulations
Proven leadership and team management capabilities
Strong verbal and written communication skills to liaise with internal teams, clients, and municipal staff
Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving and analytical thinking
Ability to manage multiple projects and work independently with minimal supervision
