We're on the hunt for a superstar Store Manager to join the Cakeworthy team! You lead by example by rolling up your sleeves, tackling challenges head-on, and inspiring your team to do the same. Your mission: drive sales, recruit and develop top talent, and deliver the standout customer service Cakeworthy is known for.

Job Description

  • Oversee day-to-day store operations to ensure an exceptional shopping experience.

  • Lead, train, and inspire sales associates to consistently meet or exceed sales targets.

  • Monitor sales performance, conversion rates, and average transaction values to drive growth.

  • Implement merchandising strategies that highlight key apparel collections and seasonal trends.

  • Maintain visual presentation standards, ensuring displays align with brand aesthetics and guidelines.

  • Manage inventory levels, oversee stock replenishment, and coordinate with suppliers to ensure product availability.

  • Ensure superior customer service by addressing customer needs, resolving issues, and cultivating loyalty.

  • Prepare and deliver daily, weekly, and monthly sales and performance reports to regional managers.

  • Oversee recruitment, training, scheduling, and performance management of the store team.

  • Enforce company policies, health and safety regulations, and loss prevention protocols.

  • Organize and lead in-store promotions, product launches, and seasonal events to boost traffic and sales.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of store management experience, preferably in apparel, with a strong track record of meeting sales targets and leading high-performing teams.

  • Proven ability to manage all aspects of store operations, including customer service, inventory control, payroll, scheduling, and team development.

  • Experienced in recruiting, training, and mentoring staff, creating a motivated and goal-driven team culture.

  • Strong understanding of visual merchandising with the ability to maintain brand standards and execute seasonal floor sets.

  • Skilled in sales reporting, KPI tracking, and data-driven decision-making to improve store performance and drive growth.

  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to handle customer concerns and team dynamics professionally.

  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced retail environment, balancing operational needs with exceptional customer service.

  • High School Diploma or GED required; post-secondary education in fashion, business, or a related field is a plus.
