Job Summary:

As a Driver/Loader, you will operate a waste collection or recycling vehicle and assist in loading curbside materials. You will be a key part of our front-line team, ensuring that collection routes are completed safely, efficiently, and with excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate waste collection and/or recycling trucks on assigned routes
• Load garbage and recyclables from curbsides into the truck
• Follow all safety guidelines and procedures while on the job
• Deliver friendly, professional customer service in accordance with company standards
• Complete routes in a timely and efficient manner
• Perform pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections and complete Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports (DVIRs)
• Report any maintenance or safety issues promptly

Requirements:

• Valid AZ/DZ license with a clean abstract and CVOR
• Minimum 1 year of proven driving experience
• Ability to lift up to 60 lbs and perform physical labor outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Ability to pass a background check including MTO medical, drug test, criminal record check, license verification, and employment history
• Reliable, punctual, and a team player
• Proven ability to multi-task & ability to prioritize tasks.
• Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Excellent communication skills for interaction with customers and team members.
