We are looking for an experienced Operations Team Lead to provide direction and day-to-day oversight to our administration team!

What you will do in the role:

  • Manage the operations of the administration department, including maintaining SOPs, scheduling team members, workload planning and prioritization, and assigning tasks
  • Support the continuous improvement of team members through training and development, coaching, providing feedback, and providing input into performance reviews
  • Assist in the overall management of SeaFirst offices, including purchasing and distributing office supplies, and scheduling office maintenance and other office activities
  • Ensure a high level of client service across the administration team and act as an escalation point for client inquiries or issues
  • Perform clerical and administrative duties to ensure the smooth and efficient operations of the office
  • Maintain SeaFirsts phone system, manage telecommunications equipment, and onboard and offboard employees from the system
  • Manage SeaFirsts key inventory, issuing and tracking keys and ensuring they are returned when employees depart the organization
  • Lead the social committee, monitoring the budget and coordinating meetings to plan and execute engaging social activities and company events throughout the year
  • Lead the occupational health and safety committee, ensuring that office inspections are completed on a regular cadence, meetings take place and meet quorum, and action items and incidents are followed up on

You can offer SeaFirst:

  • A minimum of one year experience in administration or office management
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite of programs including Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Strong written communication and editing skills and a high degree of accuracy
  • Professional, respectful, and effective communicator

  • Analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Experience planning, coordinating, and executing events
  • Keen attention to detail and deadlines

Where and when you will work:

  • Brentwood Bay Office with regular travel to other Seafirst office locations
  • Monday to Friday, 8:30am 5:00pm
  • Permanent, Full-time employment (40 hrs/week)
