AREA REVENUE MANAGER
Reporting to the National Director of Sales, the Area Revenue Manager will be responsible for optimizing and maximizing opportunities to drive revenue across the companys entire portfolio of managed and owned hotels. This positionwill be an integral part of the team as it develops, implements, and monitors revenue strategies.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Oversee revenue management and distribution strategy of all assigned properties within the portfolio of hotels
- Work alongside hotel leaders to manage day-to-day yield operations
- Facilitate regular revenue management meetings with assigned properties
- Execute daily pick-up analysis, strategy adjustments and reporting
- Perform competitive benchmark studies and monitor market trends
- Develop pricing strategies in conjunction with assigned properties
- Ensure all related systems are configured correctly, validated and working to full capacity
- Oversee and audit the standards and operations of hotel reservations
- Ensure the online website booking process is maintained and functional
- Foster a revenue management culture by implementing initiatives to optimize revenue streams and maximize profitability
- Additional relevant tasks as required by management
Experience Required
- Minimum 2 years of hands-on hotel revenue management experience
- Demonstrated knowledge of hotel operations, revenue management and hotel sales
- Experience with multi-property and select-service hotels
- Marriott brand experience preferred
- Experience with Opera, RevIQ and OneYield an asset

Desired Education
- Bachelors Degree in business, or hospitality management considered an asset
- Technical Diploma in Revenue Management or other appropriate Hotel & Restaurant Management
WORKING CONDITIONS:
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule, travel and in turn receive job flexibility
- May require occasional weekend and evening work in order to achieve deadlines and projects as determined by Senior Management
- Primarily office work with minimum monthly travel required
