Project Manager – Restoration - $70K-$85K Yr

On behalf of our client, a proud leader in disaster mitigation and property restoration located in the Durham Region, we're recruiting a Project Manager. With a commitment to quality and over 40 years of experience, they are dedicated to meeting the needs of insurers, agents, brokers, and policy holders. They serve property owners of all types with restoration services resulting from water, fire, storm and other event driven disasters.

Position Overview:

This position plays a key role in disaster response and recovery-project planning, execution, monitoring, controlling, and closing out.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage all aspects of emergency and restoration claims
• Ensure the estimate and file completion timelines are met as per predetermined Corporate and program KPI's
• Communicate client on the process of repair
• Prepare accurate job costing and estimation, ensuring target margins are met
• Deliver exceptional customer service while building and maintaining relationships with clients, subcontractors and insurance companies
• Inspect progress and ensure work quality throughout the project lifespan
• Must be able to work evenings and weekends as per the needs of the business (with availability for on call rotation)

Required Knowledge and Experience:

• 1 year of work experience in the Construction/Restoration industry
• Proficient software skills - MS office suite, MS project and Xactimate
• Valid G driver's license and clean driving record

Compensation & Benefits:

Salary - $70K-$85K yr
