We are currently hiring for two roles. The primary function of these roles is to assist various teams within the Business Analytics & Insights (BA&I), Data Operations, and Governance teams, which are part of the Data, AI, and Analytics(DNA)department. The DNA department is a central unit available to support the company with their analytical needs. This includes enabling a top-down analytical overview of CI's operations, specifically regarding data management, reporting, and insights.

Using your strong technical background and knowledge of data analytics, you will assist the CIGAM DNA department with projects to build analytical tools and data visualizations to enhance insights into CI's operations. Successful candidates will have the opportunity to work and interact with various stakeholders across the organization, including the sales team, investment managers, key operations leaders, and more. This role offers a unique chance to collaborate with diverse teams and contribute to impactful initiatives.

What You Will Do

  • Collaborate on projects to curate and analyze information from various data analytics systems.
  • Develop and enhance data dashboards to provide insightful visualizations.
  • Design and implement data structures in CI's Snowflake and AWS cloud environments to facilitate comprehensive reporting.
  • Curate foundational data sets to standardize reporting across CI's teams.
  • Address ad hoc analytical requests from various CI teams, providing timely and accurate insights.

What You Will Bring

  • Currently pursuing a University degree in Math, Engineering, Computer Science or Business. Strong technical background with experience in
  • Databases/SQL.
  • Proficiency in functional programming languages such as Python, C#, Java, R, Matlab, or similar.
  • Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and VBA.
  • Demonstrates a keen interest in data analytics and a strong desire to learn.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
