We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Executive Assistant to join our team full-time at our Downtown Vancouver office. This is a fulltime in-office role ideal for someone with a strong sense of ownership, who thrives in a dynamic environment and is eager to contribute across multiple operational areas. The key responsibilities include:
- Support HR operations, including compliance, onboarding, payroll coordination, benefits administration, and maintaining employee records
- Perform bookkeeping and support financial operations, including expense tracking and reconciliations
- Prepare and maintain internal financial reports in coordination with our accounting team
- Oversee general office operations to ensure a well-functioning and professional work environment
- Assist in scheduling, meeting preparation, and executive calendar management
- Help coordinate special projects and administrative tasks as required
- Occasional offsite pickup/drop off and making purchases
Requirements
- Proven experience in an administrative, accounting, or HR-related role
- Intermediate understanding of bookkeeping and HR fundamentals
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, formulas, reporting)
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, startup environment
Nice to Have:
- Experience with QuickBooks or similar accounting software
- Familiarity with payroll systems and employment standards in BC
- Prior experience working at a tech startup
