What are the Responsibilities?
- Lead & Inspire: Mentor a high-performing team, manage recruitment, and foster a culture of excellence and accountability.
- Drive Performance: Set and exceed service targets, manage budgets, and optimize department profitability.
- Customer First: Build strong client relationships, handle escalations, and represent the service department with professionalism.
- Strategic Oversight: Collaborate on business planning, implement process improvements, and support regional initiatives.
- Operational Excellence: Oversee payroll, technician documentation, warranty chargebacks, and daily performance metrics.
- 8+ years in service or technician roles within the dealership/trucking industry
- 3+ years of leadership experience with diverse teams
- Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and data-driven decision-making
- Customer-focused mindset with a passion for operational excellence
- Journeyperson Certification (Commercial Transport, Heavy-Duty, Diesel Mechanic)
- Experience in unionized environments
- Business management training or education
