The Shop Automation Technician is responsible for technical knowledge of equipment. Perform skilled, technical work in the design, testing, calibration for assigned product or process. On-call or provides technical support to assigned customers.

Some of the exciting things you will do in this role...

• Provides expertise related to product implementation and continued service.
• Knowledge of pneumatic, electric, and control systems
• Install, set-up, and commission AOV's.
• Provides technical solutions and design implementations for products and services.
• Builds, tests, troubleshoots, repairs and modifies equipment, parts, components and assemblies.
• Evaluates performance and reliability of materials.
• Diagnoses and reports malfunctions.
• Learn and understand particular technical equipment; attend training and completes certification as required.

A must…

• HS Diploma or GED required. Specialized skills training/certification may be required.
• Generally, 2 - 5 years of experience in the area of responsibility.
• 2-year technical degree preferred
