The Role:
As the Inside Sales front-liner, you'll manage the order desk, inventory control, and daily reports, occasionally assisting with shipping/receiving. We're looking for an energetic, self-motivated problem-solver who excels at customer service and has a passion for sales.
Duties:
- Manages inquiries, quotes, technical support, order processing, and invoicing for a diverse customer base.
- Collaborates with purchasing to maintain 95%+ fill rates, adapts to changing customer needs, and maximizes inventory turns.
- Oversees on-time shipping, addresses slow-moving inventory, and sources back orders efficiently.
- Assists with shipping/receiving, reviews reports for accuracy, and actively promotes company products.
- Keeps management informed of customer service impacting issues and supports warranty returns and service department documentation.
- Proven experience in order desk and customer service, with strong interpersonal skills and a passion for building customer relationships.
- Desired experience in petroleum and/or propane equipment, alongside a strong interest in learning new products and concepts.
- Demonstrates excellent time management, organizational abilities, and a strong capacity for problem-solving in a demanding environment.
- Possesses exceptional written and verbal communication skills; proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) is beneficial.
- College diploma in business or equivalent work experience; familiarity with industry-specific systems like SX Enterprise is an asset.
