On behalf of our west end client, a medium sized organization in the home construction sector, we are looking for an individual to join their team as an Accounting Assistant. This role may cover off in other areas of the business as well. Nice variety of tasks plus good opportunity for learning and taking the next steps in your career.
- Perform daily accounts payable and receivable tasks
- Handle invoicing, job costing, and reconciliations
- Support month-end and year-end reporting
- Assist with data entry and document management
- Provide general administrative support and cover off in other departments as needed
- 1–3 years of office experience, ideally in a similar accounting support role
- Experience with A/P, A/R, invoicing, and job costing
- Strong proficiency with MS Office, especially Excel
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
Hours:
- 8:00am-4:30pm Monday-Friday
- Free Parking on site
- Permanent Role
