About the Role
In this hybrid position (3 days onsite in Mississauga), you will provide end-to-end support across the trade lifecycle—including capture, validation, reconciliation, and resolution—for cash equities, futures, and options. You'll act as a critical link between traders, brokers, operations, and technology teams, ensuring seamless execution and issue resolution on Fidessa or Ullink platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Support front-office teams in trade capture, execution, and transaction management using Fidessa or Ullink platforms.
- Monitor and validate trade activity across cash equities, futures, and options.
- Quickly identify, investigate, and resolve trade discrepancies and settlement issues.
- Perform trade reconciliations with brokers, counterparties, and custodians.
- Act as the primary contact for issue escalation between trading desks and operations/IT.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of trading products, market structure, and operational workflows.
- Ensure adherence to all internal policies and applicable regulatory standards.
- Contribute to system enhancements and process improvements in collaboration with technology teams.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on experience supporting Fidessa (Royal Blue/ION) or Ullink (UL Trader) in a trade support or operations role.
- Solid understanding of cash equities, futures, and options products and trade flows.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills; able to operate effectively in high-pressure environments.
- Proven ability to prioritize, communicate clearly, and manage time-sensitive issues with minimal supervision.
- Excellent communication skills for working across front office, middle office, and external parties.
