Our client, a well-established transportation company based in Surrey, BC, is seeking a Regional Sales Manager to drive business development along the primary routes between Edmonton, Calgary, and British Columbia. This role is ideal for a motivated logistics sales professional with strong knowledge of these key Western Canadian freight corridors. You'll focus on growing revenue through strategic customer acquisition and relationship management along these vital trade lanes.

The position is fully remote, offering flexibility, autonomy, and growth potential.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a sales strategy focused on the primary freight routes from Edmonton and Calgary to British Columbia.
  • Identify opportunities and present customized transportation solutions (FTL, LTL, warehousing, etc.)
  • Build and manage a robust pipeline, focusing on long-term client relationships.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless execution of services.
  • Maintain accurate records and reporting through CRM tools.

Requirements & Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in transportation, freight brokerage, or 3PL sales.
  • Proven success in building and managing a regional sales territory.
  • Strong knowledge of the Western Canadian logistics market, especially Alberta and BC.
  • Comfortable working independently in a remote setting.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Experience using CRM platforms (Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar).
  • Post-secondary education in business or logistics is an asset.
