The Role
Under the leadership of an Engagement Manager or Senior Consultant, Trindent Consultants apply their expertise to review client processes and identify improvement avenues that will enhance client productivity. Consultants are accountable for successfully producing key project deliverables such as area profiles, work assessments, financial models, data analytics, client presentations, process diagrams and management system dashboards. By utilizing Trindents proven methodology and tools, Consultants deliver sustainable results and build lasting client relationships.
Consultants spend most of their time working on client sites with anyone from frontline employees to C-Suite Executives, interacting and influencing key stakeholders.

Travel/ Visa & Other Requirements
Travel to client sites is a requirement of this role. Candidates must have a flexible travel schedule and be willing to commit to 100% travel.
Consultants may be assigned to work with Trindent clients anywhere in the world and must be able to qualify for a work Visa. Successful candidates must be North American country passport holders.
Candidates must be able to pass a criminal background check as part of the application process.
To access client locations, the Consultant will undergo scheduled and random testing administered through the North American Substance Abuse Program (NASAP) for drugs of abuse.
Responsibilities
- Perform data analysis, process observations and client interviews with the goal of identifying issues, trends and opportunities.
- Facilitate and coordinate the diagnoses and development of process and system improvements by applying learned knowledge and experience to business functions.
- Develop and produce client ready deliverables such as area profiles, process diagrams, management dashboards, analytical reports, status reports, training modules, opportunity lists and PowerPoint presentations.
- Perform research, causal analysis and formulate hypothesis on product, service and process workflows.
- Develop, produce and deliver training content and productivity tools to first-line workers and leaders.
Key Skills and Experience
- Bachelors degree in Chemistry, Physics, Mechanical, and/or Chemical Engineering is preferred. PhD is a plus.
- Proven ability to self-organize around deliverables. Must be able to produce daily and weekly client-ready work products without continuous supervision.
- Extra-curriculum experience in Management Consulting is an asset.
- Demonstrated leadership, organizational, time management, and relationship-building skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong business acumen, data analysis, and project management skills is a plus.
- Knowledge in catalysis, analytical chemistry, petrochemical, or continuous reaction is a plus.
- Experience in optimizing and implementing process improvements is a plus.
- Proficient with MS Office including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- Demonstrated proficiency in data analytics in Excel, Power BI, Python or Tableau applications is an asset.
- Experience with the following process improvement tools is an asset: Conducting Process Analyses and Critiques, KPI Grids, Fishbone Analysis, Process Observations, Management Studies, Responsibility Matrix, and Standard Operating Procedures.
- Comfortable working in an ambiguous environment with competing deadlines and rapidly evolving client needs and conditions. Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Availability/ flexibility for frequent travel.
- Located near a major airport.
