Salary:

We arelooking for an Intermediate Technical Writer who will develop technical content that helps our customers achieve their goals. You will research and write product documentation, as well as develop customer training materials. Youll collaborate with a global team to turn complex information in a clear and concise content that supports customer success.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Produce documentation such as on-line help, technical reference documents, user guides or amendments to existing documents.
  • Analyze technical design specifications and user stories to assess documentation requirements.
  • Develop high-quality content that is technically accurate, concise, clear, and grammatically correct.
  • Develop an understanding of our products and be able to use them to develop and test all documentation.
  • Analyze the audience and understand use cases for the products and their features; ensure that content is appropriate for its intended audience.
  • Analyze existing content and plan new content with an understanding of re-use and single-sourcing opportunities.
  • Provide technical guidance to less experienced team members.

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • 3+ years of relevant experience
  • Ability to quickly learn and adopt technology, tools, and processes in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Strong research skills to gather information from a variety of sources.
  • Ability to grasp complex technologies with a strong analytical and technical aptitude.
  • Proficiency with Madcap Flare.
  • Familiarity with structured authoring.
  • Experience with the Agile development process and tools such as Jira.
  • Experience with Github.
  • Experience working with geographically dispersed teams.

It would be an asset if you have:

  • Experience with instructional design and training development.
  • Proficiency with Adobe Captivate.
  • Experience with a learning management system (LMS).
