Our rapidly growing client is looking for a sharp and eager Senior Accountant/Manager to thrive in their entrepreneurial environment based in Downtown Vancouver.

This newly created role is perfect for a designated CPA coming from public practice—you'll work closely with a supportive Director of Finance who's excited to mentor someone keen to learn everything about accounting for a publicly traded company. You'll get hands-on experience with financial reporting, consolidations, MD&A, IPOs, RTOs, and exchange listings—all the exciting pieces that will fast-track your path to Assistant Controller.

You could also be a CPA in industry with exposure to public company reporting in mining—if that's you, you'll shoot to the top of the list too.

• A Canadian CPA designation
• Public practice experience at the Manager or Senior Accountant level, with a strong understanding of IFRS or an industry role assisting with reporting under IFRS ready for the next step
• Financial reporting or auditing experience under IFRS is a differentiator
• Very strong written & verbal English communications skills
• Organized, and detail oriented with a passion for continuous learning
• Humble enough to know when to ask for help and to ask questions!
• Bright, detail oriented, able to work independently but with good interpersonal skills to work with this team
