Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Logistics Associate to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the flow of materials and products through our supply chain, ensuring efficient operations and timely delivery. The ideal candidate will possess strong data analysis skills and a solid understanding of logistics processes, including 3PL (third-party logistics) management, materials management, and freight operations.

Responsibilities

• Manage inventory levels and ensure the accuracy of stock records.
• Analyze data to identify trends and areas for process improvement within logistics operations.
• Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to optimize purchasing decisions and pricing strategies.
• Oversee the movement of goods from suppliers to warehouses and from warehouses to customers.
• Utilize CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) for tracking maintenance schedules and equipment performance.
• Operate forklifts safely to handle materials and packages as needed.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance overall supply chain efficiency.
• Prepare reports on logistics performance metrics for management review.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in logistics or supply chain management is preferred.
• Strong data analysis skills with the ability to interpret complex information effectively.
• Familiarity with 3PL operations and freight management processes.
• Knowledge of materials management principles and practices.
• Experience in procurement activities, including buying decisions related to inventory.
• Proficient in using CMMS software for operational tracking.
• Forklift certification is a plus; willingness to obtain certification if not currently held.
• Excellent organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
