Job Title: Manager, CPF National Projects /Gestionnaire de Projets nationaux de CPF
Location: Remote or Hybrid Model* if located close to Ottawa, ON
Employment: Fixed term employment from August 15th, 2025, to August 3rd, 2026. Dates may vary, as this is a maternity leave replacement.

POSITION SUMMARY
We are looking for an excellent bilingual communicator and effective team player who can work collaboratively to manage the delivery of dynamic and engaging programs and associated deadlines, resolve issues that may arise, communicate with stakeholders, ensuring satisfaction, and reporting on Network-wide impact, participant engagement and satisfaction.The project manager will be managing staff dedicated to projects, virtual tutoring and volunteer recruitment and retention. The Project Manager will report to the Director of Operation.
Your main objectives will be to:
- Manage and support the development, implementation, and evaluation of all pan-Canadian projects in collaboration with CPF National and Branch staff. Current projects include:
- French in the Early Years programming,
- Concours dart oratoire Network coordination and National finals,
- Youth Leadership Initiatives, including Where are They Now Video production and promotions, and the Concours Alumni Network, and,
- Virtual Career Fair Project coordination and outreach.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for program communications, fostering relationships with new partners and key stakeholders to encourage participation and increase program visibility.
- Provide guidance and oversight to ensure all programs, activities, and resources align with CPFs brand and meet established quality standards.
- Contribute to the conception, creation and development of new communication tools including promotional videos, public awareness campaigns, newsletters, website and social media content that support CPFs Network programs and strategic objectives.
- Develop an evaluation strategy and produce quarterly program impact reports by leveraging appropriate tools and software to analyze metrics and insights from end-user and stakeholder feedback.
- Other related duties as assigned by the Director of Operations.
EMPLOYMENT CONDITIONS
Full-time fixed term position (37.5 hrs/wk) until March 31, 2026, dependent on confirmed funding. Renewal planned on a yearly basis, with a possible extension until August 3rd, 2026.
Starting salary is commensurate with experience and qualifications ($60,000 $79,000) annually. The selected candidates performance will be evaluated after the completion of a three-month probationary period. Eligible for Group Benefits (Health/Dental, Life Insurance & Disability) after 90 days.
*Hybrid Work Model - The CPF Network office follows a hybrid working model, which allows local employees to telework, currently up to 80 percent of the time.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in both French and English.
- Certificate in project management or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 2 to 5 years work experience in a project management position in educational program development, program evaluation techniques, training delivery, instructional design, particularly as it relates to French Second Language education or programs.
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills, able to take initiative, manage deadlines, and work well independently and within a team; experience connecting with stakeholder groups, and ability to build rapport and credibility with staff and volunteers.
- Strong technology skills in Microsoft Office applications (SharePoint, One Drive, Team, Outlook), Doodle, Canva, MailChimp, JotForm and WordPress.
ADDITIONAL CRITERIA
- Candidates must legally be entitled to work in Canada.
- Able to work evenings and weekends as required. The position will require occasional travel (2-4 times per year).
- Experience in the not-for-profit sector, member or volunteer-driven organizations, is considered an asset.
- Supports promoting learning of both official languages and a bilingual Canada.
