We are currently looking for an Accountant for a Fuel Transportation company in Toronto, ON.
Start Date: Immediately
Shift: 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
Location: High Park & Bloor St.
Rate: $26-$29 /hour
Responsibilities:

• Perform accurate monthly account reconciliations and year-end audits
• Maintain and manage the general ledger and all related account reconciliations
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements per accounting standards
• Process vendor invoices, journal entries, and tax remittances (HST, payroll, corporate)
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis,
• Assist with audits and maintain accurate records
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal policies
• Generate reports and analyze financial data using Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Sage 300

Requirements:

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 6-7 years of accounting experience
• Strong knowledge of full-cycle accounting and audit processes
• Proficient in Sage 300, Microsoft Dynamics 356, and advanced Excel
• CPA or equivalent certification is an asset
• Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills
• High energy, results-driven, team player
• Excellent time management with a high ability to multitask
• 'Can-Do' attitude with a passion to drive results
