Position: Director of Finance
Location: Toronto (Full-Time, In-Office Only)
Compensation: ~$150,000 base + performance bonus

Our client, a well-established Toronto-based investment management and advisory firm, is seeking a Director of Finance to lead the financial function across both corporate and fund-level entities. This is a full-time, in-office role ideal for a CPA with strong fund reporting experience and a hands-on approach.

Key Responsibilities:

• Full-cycle financial reporting, including audited and management statements

• Oversight of bookkeeping, tax filings, and expense management

• Cash flow forecasting, payables/receivables, and banking relationships

• Regulatory compliance across real estate brokerage and investment entities

• Operational finance support (insurance, payroll, benefits, IT vendors)

• Preparation of investor and shareholder reports and presentations

• Administration of shareholder agreements and legal governance

• Support strategic initiatives and identify process improvements

Requirements:

• CPA designation required

• Experience in fund reporting (private equity, asset management, etc.)

• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills

• Comfortable in a lean, fast-paced environment
