The Wood Automotive Group, one of Alberta's largest automobile retailers for over 40 years, is offering an exciting opportunity for an HR Coordinator to join our team.

About the Role: Working directly with the HR Director, the HR Coordinator will be responsible for providing operational HR support. This individual will have excellent written and verbal skill; strong interpersonal skills, enthusiastic and motivated attitude. The successful candidate will also be highly organized and have the ability to complete tasks under pressure and adapt to changing priorities.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

• Assist with special projects utilizing in-house software tools
• Provide support throughout with full cycle recruitment process as assigned.
• Perform day-today administrative tasks, including drafting and distributing company-wide memos, filing, data entry, and updating employee records.
• Keep up-to-date and implement any by-law, national and provincial restrictions.
• Respond to HR-related inquiries in a confidential and timely manner
• Offer general HR support to managers and employees as required – can include reports and projects
• Assist with any company related social events

Qualifications:

• 1 – 3 years in a Human Resources related supportive role
• Post-secondary education or certificate in Human Resources preferred
• Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
• Ability to manage several tasks and projects simultaneously

• Valid AB driver's license, a clean driver's abstract and reliable vehicle
