The Drake has been a part of the community and our guests' lives since 2004. Celebrating its 21st anniversary this year, The Drake is a growing Canadian hospitality brand focused on lifestyle hotels, food + drink and special events. To this day, we're the destination for the curious. At The Drake, we celebrate emerging music and art, serve food and drinks that reimagine the classics, and inspire our team and guests to embrace fresh perspectives. We're more than a place to sleep, eat + drink; we believe culture and community matter and are committed to an exceptional hospitality experience delivered in our signature style; one that is genuine, personal, memorable and embraces the energy of discovery. We value honesty and spontaneity because that's the stuff of real connection and believe that hospitality is an act of care. The Drake Hotel (Toronto), Drake Devonshire Inn (Wellington, Prince Edward County), and Drake Motor Inn (Wellington, Prince Edward County) are each reflective of their respective neighbourhoods as inclusive hubs for unique and diverse experiences through art, culture and hospitality with great seasonal menus, a robust cocktail list, carefully curated curiosities, and genuine hospitality excellence for all.

Working with The Drake means that you will have the opportunity to work alongside like-minded individuals in an inclusive, entrepreneurial, and team-oriented environment. As someone who is curious, collaborative and a continuous learner, you'll have limitless opportunities to make an impact and to be recognized for it. If you have a knack for revenue management and are passionate about the hospitality industry, The Drake has an exciting opportunity for you. We are currently seeking a talented Revenue Manager to join our team.

Core Responsibilities

Daily Revenue Management: Manage real-time pricing and inventory levels based on demand and market conditions. Collaborate with Sales and other teams on effective dynamic group pricing.

Revenue Strategy & Execution: With the Regional GM, develop end-to-end revenue strategies for all room, groups and ancillary streams (F&B, events, retail), ensuring decisions align with overall brand positioning and profit goals. Oversee critical portions of the annual forecasting, budgeting, and long-range demand planning cycle, delivering clear upside/risk scenarios to senior leadership.

Distribution Channel Expansion: Refine our multi-channel distribution roadmap (direct web, mobile, GDS, OTAs, metasearch, emerging platforms). Identify and onboard new partners that expand reach and lower acquisition cost. Negotiate and manage OTA, wholesaler, and consortia contracts, optimizing commission structures and visibility levers (e.g., preferred placements, flash sales) without diluting ADR.

Digital Marketing Collaboration: Work closely with the Digital Marketing team on campaign strategy, bid-modifiers, and landing-page optimization to ensure spend efficiency and measurable ROI. Leverage first-party data and CRM insights to build personalized offer ladders, upsell paths, and loyalty-member exclusives that lift book-direct share.

Revenue Alignment & Influence: Chair a monthly “Revenue Lab” meeting with Hotel Sales, Marketing, and F&B leaders—turning insights into rapid-fire promotions, need-date tactics, and packaging ideas. Educate and upskill cross-departmental teams (Front Office, Reservations, Sales) on revenue-optimization fundamentals, fostering a unified approach across all channels.

Performance Reporting & Continuous Improvement: Deliver concise performance briefs to senior leadership and ownership, translating complex data into clear actions and financial impact. Conduct post-mortems on major campaigns, events, and market swings, codifying lessons learned and embedding them into SOPs.

Industry Engagement & Brand Advocacy: Represent Drake Hotel Properties at industry roundtables, brand-collection forums, and vendor advisory boards, staying ahead of trends in boutique-hotel revenue innovation. Benchmark against best-in-class independents and lifestyle brands, recommending new tech, partnerships, or tactics that keep the property a category standout.

Why else do we think you'll want to take on this role at Drake Hotel Properties?
  • You'll have a seat at the table: influencing pricing, distribution, and marketing spend for a celebrated Toronto icon.
  • There is a green light for innovation: freedom to test cutting-edge RMS, AI, and digital tactics without corporate red tape.
  • Visible career trajectory: the role reports directly to senior leadership and successes are highly visible and play a role in our future growth planning.
  • Culture-rich environment: collaborate with a dynamic hospitality environment beyond Rooms, in culinary, art, music and events—turning data insights into unforgettable guest experiences.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in hotel revenue management
  • Demonstrated knowledge of revenue management principles and strategies
  • Proficiency in revenue management systems and tools
  • Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work well in a team and collaborate with various departments
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing market conditions
  • Experience in the Toronto market preferred.

Benefits

We pride ourselves in providing strong leadership and development opportunities for passionate hospitality professionals who are looking to build rewarding, long-term careers.
