We have a great opportunity for a Service Manager to join our team at Crown Auto Group.As a Service Manager, you will be responsible for the supervision and leadership of the service department and will respond to customer complaints and inquiries in a courteous and professional manner. You will drive the growth of revenue, technical productivity, quality assurance and to promote a high level of customer satisfaction as well as the management of staff, resources and inventories.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage day-to-day operations of the service department.
  • Supervise service advisors and technicians, providing guidance and support.
  • Ensure timely and accurate completion of repair orders.
  • Handle customer concerns and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Monitor workflow, productivity, and quality control.
  • Collaborate with parts department to ensure availability of needed parts.
  • Ensure compliance with company standards for cost control, waste reduction, quality, safety, and complete and on-time delivery
  • Drive profitability through effective cost control and upselling when appropriate.
  • Develop and train service staff to meet performance standards and career growth goals.
  • Responsible for appropriate staff levels to meet requirements of the shop.
  • Monitor financial performance to ensure the department is meeting or exceeding budgetary commitments.
  • Measure and monitor key indicators of the service delivered.
  • Ensure that all reporting employees adhere to company policies and procedures.
  • Attend/conduct all department meetings.
  • Ensure staff compliance with required health and safety regulations.
  • Keep abreast of new equipment and tools and recommend purchases.
  • Perform other duties as required.

Qualifications:

  • 3-4 Years of proven experience as a Service Manager or similar role in the automotive industry.
  • Strong knowledge of automotive repair and maintenance procedures.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Outstanding customer service and communication abilities.
  • Proficient with repair order software (e.g., CDK, Reynolds & Reynolds, etc.).
  • ASE certification or technical training preferred.
  • Valid drivers license
  • Detail-oriented, organizational aptitude
  • Multi-tasking ability and logical thinking
  • Able to work under pressure, occasionally in crisis situations.
