Position: Cutter Operator
Main Duties:
- Review dockets, fully understand job specifications and complete all required paperwork including; label requests, log books, skid tickets, etc.
- Complete appropriate cutter set up
- Complete cutting sign off
- Jog and cut stock to ensure consistent high quality product, as per docket specifications
- Wrap final product and place in staging area for next stage of operation.
- Provide training to junior staff, follow all Apex Graphics Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), ensure quality standards and production targets are consistently met.
- Other duties as may be assigned from time to time
Experience:
- Minimum 3 years of relevant cutting experience preferred
- Ability to set-up both cut jobs assigned
- Sharp attention to detail with strong mechanical aptitude
- Able to perform the physical requirements of position which may include bending, reaching, lifting (up-to 35lbs), standing for long periods and repetitive motions
- Strong command of both written and verbal English Language
Location: Mississauga
Shift Type: Afternoon shift Monday - Thursday 3:48 PM to 1:48 AM ( 4 x 10 hour shifts)
Job Type - Full-Time Permanent
Pay Rate: $25 to $32 (Based on Experience)
