About the RoleReporting to the Portfolio CFO and working alongside controllers and senior leaders, this role supports financial reporting, integration of newly acquired businesses, and month-end activities. You'll take part in day-to-day accounting operations, support automation initiatives, and lead intercompany processes across global entities. The ideal candidate is curious, adaptable, and eager to learn in a fast-paced, acquisition-driven environment.
What You'll Do
- Prepare journal entries and reconciliations for select business units and acquisitions
- Support month-end reporting, including IFRS 15 contract reviews and financial note disclosures
- Manage intercompany transactions and ensure proper documentation across entities
- Identify areas for process improvement and contribute to automation and systems upgrades
- Collaborate with local finance teams to enhance accuracy in reporting and operations
- Participate in finance transformation projects and support system integrations (e.g., ERP)
- Assist with quarterly reviews and year-end audit processes
- CPA designation (or in final stages of completion)
- 3+ years of accounting experience in public practice or industry
- Hands-on experience with IFRS 15 and IFRS 16 is strongly preferred
- Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical capabilities
- Experience with ERP systems (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics GP or NetSuite) is an asset
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work across time zones and functions
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset
- Fluency in Portuguese or Spanish is an asset, but not required
