Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Glass Installer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in glass installation, Railing Installation, Cubicle & Shower Doors, Light Commercial Installation & Replacement with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. This role involves installing, repairing, and replacing glass in various settings, ensuring quality workmanship and adherence to safety standards. The Glass Installer will also be responsible for interpreting schematics and blueprints to execute projects accurately.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair, and replace glass in residential and commercial properties.
• Interpret schematics and blueprints to determine installation requirements.
• Use hand tools and power tools effectively for cutting, shaping, and fitting glass.
• Perform caulking and sealing tasks to ensure proper insulation and aesthetics.
• Collaborate with carpenters and other tradespeople on construction projects.
• Restore existing glass installations as needed, ensuring high-quality finishes.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment at all times.
• Adhere to safety protocols while handling glass materials and operating tools.

Experience

• Proven experience in glass installation or a related field is preferred.
• Familiarity with carpentry, tile laying, flooring installation, and plumbing is a plus.
• Ability to read and understand technical schematics and blueprints.
• Proficient in using hand tools relevant to the trade, including saws, drills, and measuring devices.
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to delivering quality workmanship.

Pay: $30.00-$50.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
