Job Description

Reporting to the Chief People and Inclusion Officer, you will lead a team during an exciting time of transformation. As a key leader with reach across the entire organization and externally, you will collaborate with senior leadership and partners, leading a team of professionals with the goal of creating an inclusive environment from which to unlock MLSE's collective capabilities.

In this role you will:

  • Works with internal and external stakeholders to help shape programs to enhance key “employee experiences that matter” throughout the end-end employee journey at MLSE
  • Executes an employee experience strategy that is robust and sustainable as the company evolves
  • Promotes a workplace grounded in MLSE's Mission, Vision and Values, by building programs and crafting experiences that will make employees feel valued and empowered to do their best work
  • Launch and manage both new and current tools, processes, and experiences to drive higher levels of engagement, satisfaction and contributes to a strong culture of inclusion at MLSE
  • Lead the end-to-end design, development, and delivery of an integrated talent management strategy to align with organizational cycles of work, MLSE Values, and key business objectives (performance enablement, succession planning, talent reviews, etc).
  • Collaborate and partner closely with the Vice President, HR to ensure talent solutions are aligned to critical business needs that help drive performance.
  • Utilize HR metrics and analytics to assess the effectiveness of talent management initiatives and make data-driven recommendations for improvement Continuously measure the effectiveness of all learning programs, identifying trends and insights to make updates/improvements on an ongoing basis.
  • Foster a culture of performance measurement and lead the performance enablement process at MLSE ensuring effective and timely cascading of strategic objectives and development of measurable outcomes and KPIs.
  • Lead, coach and mentor a team responsible for developing, producing, and design training tools and platforms including videos, modules, curated content, etc. supporting MLSE learning & development strategy
  • Lead the design, development, and implementation of core learning programming and create a curriculum that enables employees across the organization to deliver exceptional fan experiences, optimize business performance, and reach their full potential.
  • Create leadership development programs aligned with MLSE's Mission, Vision, Values, and strategic priorities to enhance manager effectiveness and strengthen the succession bench.
  • Design reward and recognition programs that celebrate L&D milestones, while leveraging talent analytics to proactively address engagement trends and retention risks across the organization.
Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in related field; 10+ years of experience in Human Resources or Human Capital Consulting with solid knowledge and working experience with change management, strategy development and leadership programming.
  • Demonstrated track record of success in leading, influencing and executing significant multi-year strategic organizational talent, performance, recognition and L&D change initiatives.
  • Passionate, dynamic and strategic leader, with a proven track record of harmonizing strategy, programs and experiences, and ability to influence at all levels.
  • In-depth knowledge of leading practices, policies, processes and evaluation tools in talent management and L&D.
  • Expertise in building sustainable business relationships with all levels of leaders and stakeholders through trust, respect, competence and confidence.
  • Demonstrated experience in the development and implementation of effective strategies to maximize inter-professional collaboration will also prove pivotal to success in the role
  • Strategic and innovative, with the ability to develop tactical plans that deliver results.
  • Demonstrable experience in the development and implementation of a cross-functional, multi-stakeholder impactful strategy.
  • Experience growing grassroots initiatives with the ability to think strategically and translate business and individual needs into actionable items.
  • Flexible self-starter who uses profile, relationships and institutional knowledge to engage the right people to affect the right outcomes.
  • Ability to bring challenging topics to the table in a constructive way and engage stakeholders in coming up with viable impactful solutions.
  • Authentic passion for lifelong learning, who stays current with leading and innovative talent and L&D research and topics.
