We are now seeking a talented, experienced Red Seal Millwright to take charge of machinery installation, maintenance, and optimization in a dynamic production environment. This position is for a reputable food & beverage manufacturing company located in Surrey, BC. Reporting to the Maintenance & Engineering Manager, you'll play a key role in keeping operations running smoothly and efficiently, ensuring safe & efficient production on a 24/7 basis.

What are the Responsibilities?

• Install, align, and maintain industrial machinery (pumps, conveyors, fans, etc.)
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, pneumatic, and electrical systems
• Execute preventative maintenance and keep detailed logs
• Read blueprints and schematics to ensure precise machine placement and maintenance techniques
• Fabricate parts using lathes, grinders, and other tools
• Support continuous improvement and safety initiatives

What are the Requirements?

• Red Seal Certification (Millwright/Industrial Mechanic)
• 5+ years of hands-on experience
• Experience with high-speed packaging and food/beverage production
• Precision alignment and measurement skills
• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities
• Bonus: 4th Class Power Engineer certification or willingness to obtain

Compensation:

• Base wage: $40 to $44 per hour, depending on skills and experience
• Premiums:
  1. $.70/hr for afternoons
  2. $1.50/hr for nights
  3. $1/hr for 4th Class PE
  4. $.50/hr for First Aid L1
  5. $1.00/hr for First Aid L2
• Comprehensive benefits: (70/30), 100% prescription coverage if purchased at Costco or via an online generic supplier (ie. pocketpills.com), 70/30 for minor/standard dental, 50/50 for major.

Schedule:Morning and afternoon; potential for graveyard shift if needed in the future.

• Morning: 7am - 3:30pm
• Afternoon: 3pm - 11:30pm

You will primarily be on the day shift but need to be flexible to cover the afternoon shift when required, and possibly a graveyard shift in the future.
