About the Role

Our client, a leading structural steel fabricator specializing in steel and railway bridges, is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer to lead their engineering team. This high-impact role is ideal for an experienced professional ready to drive complex bridge projects from pre-bid through construction-and grow into an executive leadership position.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead engineering initiatives and mentor internal teams

• Support project management from design through construction

• Provide technical oversight on steel bridge fabrication and installation

• Collaborate across departments and with external stakeholders

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil/Structural Engineering (Canadian university preferred)

• P.Eng designation (PEO or other Canadian province) with 10+ years of experience

• Proven expertise in bridge engineering and structural steel projects

• Strong communication and leadership skills

Nice to Have

• Background in heavy structural fabrication

• Interest or experience in commercial aspects of engineering projects
