The Role

We are looking for a dependable and safety-conscious Driver to support our construction and warehouse operations. This role is responsible for transporting materials, tools, and equipment to job sites, ensuring deliveries are accurate, timely, and handled with care. The Driver also plays a key role in maintaining the organization and cleanliness of the warehouse and yard, while adhering to all safety and operational procedures. This is a hands-on, physically active role ideal for someone who enjoys working independently and takes pride in supporting field teams.

Key Tasks

• Safely operate a light truck to deliver materials and equipment to and from job sites
• Load and unload materials, ensuring proper handling and secure transport
• Plan efficient delivery routes and adjust for weather or traffic conditions
• Perform routine vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs
• Maintain accurate delivery logs and related documentation
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment
• Assist with warehouse organization, material handling, and minor maintenance
• Maintain cleanliness and order in the warehouse, shop, and yard
• Communicate issues or delays to the Warehouse Supervisor
• Follow all company safety procedures, traffic laws, and policies

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid G-class drivers license with a clean driving record
• Forklift certification preferred

Experience

• 3+ years experience driving commercial or company vehicles
• Previous experience in delivery, logistics, or warehouse roles preferred

Knowledge and Technical Skills

• Proficient in operating light trucks and delivery vehicles
• Skilled in using GPS and route planning tools
• Familiarity with load securement and safe material handling practices
• Ability to operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and general warehouse equipment
• Basic computer skills, including email and documentation tools
• Strong attention to safety standards and company protocols

Physical and Environmental Requirements

• Ability to lift and carry materials up to 50 lbs on a regular basis
• Frequent bending, climbing, stooping, and lifting
• Extended periods of driving and sitting
• Exposure to construction environments, including noise, dust, and moving machinery
• Work outdoors in varying weather conditions (heat, cold, snow, rain)
• Navigating unpaved or uneven terrain on job sites
