About the Opportunity:
Our client, a respected public accounting firm, is seeking a Senior Accountant to join their team. Primary Responsibilities:
• Execute advanced accounting procedures across various client accounts.
• Prepare detailed compilation reports, including Notice to Reader documentation.
• Complete personal (T1), trust (T3), and corporate (T2) tax filings.
• Provide thorough accounting support tailored to client needs.
• Collaborate effectively within a dynamic, deadline-driven team.
Required Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related discipline with strong academic results.
• Successful completion of the CPA or Common Final Examination (CFE).
• 3+ years of public accounting experience with private companies and compilations.
• Strong understanding of ASPE standards, tax compliance, and tax planning.
• Experience with software such as QuickBooks, CaseWare, and Taxprep.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Excellent communication skills in English, both written and spoken.
• Highly organized, self-motivated, and able to manage competing deadlines.
