Within the Customer Experience Excellence (CEE) team, we are responsible for overseeing the end-to-end customer support experience and driving operational excellence across the value chain. We have consolidated operational teams from all our TAC entities alongside a number of customer success primes and managed service teams, and have a focus on elevating the customer experience from farmers to multinational consumer goods corporations, digitally transforming our business, elevating our team and high performance culture, and oscillating between transformation and growth.

As a Customer Success Manager I, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the satisfaction and retention of our clients within our agriculture business unit. Working closely with the Agriculture Customer Success team, you will be responsible for building strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs, and helping them derive maximum value from our products or services. This position is ideal for individuals with excellent communication skills, a customer-centric mindset, and a passion for delivering exceptional client experiences.

Here's How

  • Develop a deep understanding of clients' contracts, business objectives, challenges, and needs.
  • Collaborate with clients to define clear success criteria and key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned clients, building strong and trusted relationships.
  • Assist in the onboarding process for new clients, providing and/or coordinating product demonstrations and training to ensure they have a solid understanding of our offerings.
  • Proactively engage with clients to gather feedback, address any concerns, provide updates, and guide the client down a successful path.
  • Identify opportunities to upsell or cross-sell additional products/services based on client needs.
  • Monitor client usage and engagement to identify trends and patterns, taking action to ensure clients are deriving maximum value from our products and services.
  • Resolve any client issues or escalations promptly and effectively.
  • Act as an advocate for clients within the company, coordinating with sales, product, engineering, and support teams to ensure client needs are met.
  • Act as internal champion of assigned clients to provide Voice of Customer and Client Health updates on a regular cadence.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in customer success.

What you bring to this role

  • Bachelor's degree in business, communications, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Suitable for early-to-mid-career professionals with proven experience in a client-facing role, such as account management, customer success, sales, negotiation, relationship management, or client relations.
  • Experience in the agriculture industry.
  • Agriculture software or SaaS product knowledge.
  • A bias for action, growth, and commitment based leadership.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and communicate effectively with clients at various levels.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically to address client challenges.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management abilities.
  • Familiarity with CRM software and customer success management tools.
  • Ability to analyze data and metrics to make informed decisions.
  • A proactive and customer-centric approach to work.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Previous experience in a relevant industry or domain is a plus.
  • In-depth knowledge and expertise of TAC and/or TELUS strategies, service offerings, and technologies is an asset.
  • Professional certifications and learning related to Customer Success and/ or Business Relationship Management is an asset.
