TheManager, Lease Operations & Business Developmentplays a key role in advancing leasing-related initiatives across the organization. This position supports strategic growth inretail and commercial leasing, drives improvements inlease renewal processes, enhancesremarketing efficiency, and strengthensreporting infrastructure to enable better decision-making. While the role operates laterally alongside other managers, it requires a high level of independence, initiative, and cross-departmental coordination.
ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Business Development (Leasing & Commercial):
- Support the development and implementation of new retail and commercial leasing strategies.
- Analyze market trends, customer needs, and internal data to identify growth opportunities.
- Collaborate with sales and finance teams to enhance lease penetration and retention.
Lease Renewal & Retention:
- Manage the lease renewal lifecycle, ensuring timely communication and process optimization.
- Develop tools, campaigns, and reporting to increase renewal conversion rates.
- Monitor KPIs and flag risk areas or opportunities for retention growth.
Remarketing & Portfolio Optimization:
- Partner with remarketing teams to improve resale performance of lease returns.
- Track and report on return rates, residual trends, and vehicle disposition outcomes.
- Help refine lease-end processes to reduce friction and maximize profitability.
Reporting & Insights:
- Own and improve reporting frameworks for leasing performance, renewal activity, and fleet disposition.
- Work with data and analytics teams to provide leadership with timely, actionable insights.
- Ensure alignment of internal reporting with OEM expectations and external compliance standards.
- Cross-Functional Coordination:
- Serve as a liaison between leasing, finance, sales, remarketing, and operations teams.
- Lead process improvement initiatives and help standardize best practices across departments.
- Support training efforts and the rollout of new tools or platforms related to leasing operations.
