Driver/Warehouse

Location: Tri Cities Port Coquitlam/Coquitlam/Port Moody - On site - (location may change to the lower mainland).

Salary: $21 - $24/HR

We are searching for a Driver for our new Vancouver Facility. This role will begin as part-time and may fluctuate from 18-30 hours/week.

Job Title:

Delivery Driver

Main Purpose of the Job:

Regular delivery and pick up of Friendlier inventory from customers

Reports to:

Operations Lead

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Deliveries and pick-ups of reusable containers from participating locations, while doing deliveries of new containers at the same time.
• Picking and packing orders of clean product to prepare for delivery
• Representing the Friendlier brand on all deliveries and pickups.
• Additional delivery/pickup support
• Customer service, develop positive relationships with clientele
  
• Use software while on route to track deliveries and pickups
• Work independently and efficiently
• Conduct required checks and safety procedures
• Work with incoming and outgoing facility team to facilitate smooth operations in logistics
• Assisting with warehouse intake as required

Qualifications:

• Full Class 5 Drivers License
• Clean driving abstract
• Familiarity with service and delivery to the GVRD
• Able to take initiative and work individually.
• Able to work within a team environment.
• Able to adapt to varying responsibilities.
• Ability to read, write, and speak in English.
• Strong customer service skills; outgoing and comfortable speaking with new people regularly
• Professional and effective communication skills.

Working Conditions:

The facility can be subject to temperature fluctuations. Return containers may contain food residue, mold, pests, and odours. The return containers will cause odours in the truck while driving. Must be able to tolerate smells.
