Our client is searching for a Corporate Accountant to join their team. This role will be responsible for playing a key role in supporting full-cycle accounting, financial reporting and daily operations. A successful candidate will be highly motivated and eager to learn new processes in a fast-paced environment. This role reports directly to the Corporate Controller.
Your success will be defined by your ability to:
- Manage full-cycle accounting for corporate entities, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger activities
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial and management reports
- Produce consolidated financial statements across multiple entities
- Execute indirect and overhead cost allocations in accordance with internal policies
- Support month-end and year-end closing processes and provide necessary financial data for reporting
- Provide general accounting support, including reconciliations, journal entries, and ledger maintenance
- Prepare and process management and advertising invoices accurately and in a timely manner
- Ensure adherence to contractual terms and proper allocation of expenses
- Manage and process corporate bill payments, including utilities, rent, insurance, and other recurring expenses
- Ensure accurate and timely payments to vendors and service providers
- Oversee banking activities, including setting up and managing auto payments, transfers, and other banking transactions
- Ensure accurate recording and reconciliation of banking transactions
- Set up new vendor accounts accurately in the accounting system
- Verify vendor information, including tax identification, banking details, and payment terms
- Assist with treasury operations including bank reconciliations, internal transfers, and monitoring cash flow
- Support payroll accounting through accurate classification and reconciliation of payroll entries
- Coordinate and support year-end audits by providing schedules, reconciliations, and required documentation
- Ensure compliance with GAAP, internal policies, and regulatory requirements
- Maintain accurate documentation and contribute to the enhancement of internal controls.
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Experience in full-cycle accounting or related fields
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting
- Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks and MS Excel
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
