We are currently hiring one High Intensity CBT Clinician for our Ontario Structured Psychotherapy (OSP) program.

Closing Date: June 13, 2025

Permanent: 35 hours per week, evenings and weekends may be required.

Salary: $74,160 per annum.

Location: The successful candidates will work primarily from our Alliston office (35 Victoria Street East, Town Square, Unit #1Alliston, ON L9R 1T9) and may be required to occasionally travel to our Vaughan office, as well as within York Region & South Simcoe for training or meetings.

Job Profile:

The Therapy Focused Clinician will provide treatment and assessment (triage/intake), with majority of time focused on treatment. Assessment can be provided using various remote methods, including over the telephone and teleconferencing. A portion of high-intensity services will be required to be offered in person.

Clinicians hold 60-minute weekly therapy sessions with clients, in various modalities (e.g., telephone, virtual, and in-person). CBT protocols vary from 12-20 sessions. The required functions will be determined by the operational needs of the program. The clinician will provide these functions in alignment with the clinical guidelines of the OSP program.

Client population includes those with mild to moderate depression, anxiety and anxiety-related conditions.

Mandatory Minimum Requirements

  • Master's degree in health, mental health, or social services required 
  • Member in good standing with one of the following five Colleges regulated to perform the Controlled Act of Psychotherapy in Ontario:
    • The Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Services Workers as Social Worker
    • The College of Nurses of Ontario
    • The College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario
    • The College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario
    • The College of Psychologists of Ontario

Prior Work Experience 

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in the delivery of individual CBT is preferred; Documented evidence of CBT training with adequate supervision is preferred
  • Demonstrated experience and knowledge of etiology and treatment of depressive and anxiety disorders as well as CBT and its application in mood and anxiety disorders
  • Demonstrated experience and knowledge of the science and practices of psychotherapy including a full range of psychotherapeutic and assessment techniques
  • Results-oriented work ethic and ability to work independently and undertake tasks needed to accomplish work objectives and to deliver quality, consistent and timely results
  • Strong assessment skills to deliver and interpret symptom and outcome measures 
  • Proven ability to adapt readily to change

  • A valid Canadian driver's license, a minimum $1,000,000 third-party liability insurance

Working Conditions: Office work. Sitting at a desk and communicating over the phone for long periods i.e. a tele-agent environment. Day, evening and weekend hours are required based on client scheduling needs.
