Position Overview

As a Journeyman Millwright, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of industrial equipment and mechanical systems. Youll work hands-on in a fast-paced environment, ensuring machinery is operating safely and efficiently to minimize downtime.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, inspect, maintain, and repair mechanical systems, including pumps, conveyors, compressors, gearboxes, and other industrial equipment
• Align and balance equipment using precision tools
• Interpret blueprints, schematics, and manuals to perform equipment maintenance
• Perform preventative maintenance and participate in equipment upgrades
• Diagnose mechanical issues and implement effective repairs
• Work collaboratively with electricians, welders, and production staff
• Adhere to workplace safety policies, regulations, and procedures
• Maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance activities

Qualifications

• Red Seal Certification as an Industrial Mechanic (Millwright) required
• Minimum [25] years of experience in an industrial setting
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
• Experience with hydraulic and pneumatic systems
• Ability to read technical drawings and use precision measuring tools
• Commitment to workplace safety and continuous improvement
