Sure Flow Equipment Inc., a leader in designing, manufacturing, and supplying industrial valves and strainers, is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Junior Controller to join our finance team. As a Junior Controller, you will play a critical role in supporting financial reporting, budgeting, and internal controls within a dynamic manufacturing environment. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the financial success of our growing company while working closely with senior leadership. Key Responsibilities: * Assist with monthly financial reporting, including preparation of balance sheets and income statements. * Support Sage Project costing for fabricated items. * Assist with A/P and A/R functions, including invoice approval, payment tracking, and collections. * Reconcile accounts payable, accounts receivable, and other balance sheet accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness. * Assist with vacation tracking and payroll processing. * Assist with internal controls and audit processes to ensure compliance with accounting standards. * Assist with preparation of financial statements for management and external stakeholders, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. * Participate in month-end and year-end closing processes. * Support CTPAT and ISO certification and compliance procedures. * Work closely with the President to support financial decision-making and business operations. * Other duties as assigned. Qualifications: * Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. * 1-2 years of experience in accounting or finance, preferably in a manufacturing environment. * Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and reconciliations. * Proficient in Microsoft Excel and SAGE 300 accounting software. * Familiarity with A/P and A/R processes and best practices. * Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. * Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate across departments. * Proactive and driven to achieve results. * Professional and proven ability to maintain confidentiality.
