Position
The primary function of the role is the construction of a wide variety of natural stone landscape features including walls, paths, stairs and patios. Our masons also often work on large water features and ponds

Responsibilities:

• Installation of masonry and hardscaping elements, primarily large format natural stone products.
• Vertical and horizontal masonry applications.
  
• Mobile equipment operation (skid steers, mini excavators).
• Working with laser levels, spirit levels and stringlines etc. to ensure accuracy.
• Working accurately and safely with grinders, tile saws, cutoff saws and coring drills.
• Mixing and preparing mortar, grout and thinset.
• Accurately and safely using chisels and bolsters to shape and dress stones.
• Using line lasers, laser levels, spirit levels, stringlines etc. to ensure accuracy.
• Interpreting and working from architectural plans and drawings.

Selection Criteria

• Stone masonry experience, particularly in a high-end residential setting.
• Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to a high level of quality.
• Strong work ethic and ability to work under deadlines.
• Happy to work outside year-round.
