Developmental Services - Ontario Autism Program Foundational Family Support Worker (OAP FFSW)
One Full-Time Contract to February 2026 (with the possibility of extension or becoming permanent)
- Location: Aurora, Ontario L4G3S9
- must be within a commutable daily distance from the office and/or service area
- Status: Contract, Full-Time
- Starting Hourly Rate: $32.13 / Hour
- Office Hours: Monday - Friday - 8:30 am - 4:30 pm, 35 Hours per week
- Office Expectations; Work in the office to provide team coverage, minimum once per month in addition to in-office meetings, trainings, and supervisions

Job Description
Primary functions include; support to children and youth through the completion of referral forms, the provision of information/resources both generic and specialized, facilitated access to children's sector resources and service plans. Tasks will include gathering of information, referral support and short-term service coordination.
The Family Support Worker support also involves working in partnership with other various community service providers to develop a support system for the child, youth and family based on needs.
Position Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in social work or related discipline (i.e. Health Sciences)
- Experience;
- Minimum three years directly related frontline experience using a family-centred approach
- Working with children and youth with multiple needs, autism and/or developmental delays is essential
- Familiarity with the local service system and its providers is required
- Second language is considered an asset
- An understanding of cultural diversity is considered an asset
