Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Full stack Developer with deep expertise in SAP UI5 frontend development and SAP HANA Cloud backend services. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience designing and developing scalable, secure full-stack applications with SAP HANA Cloud, PL/SQL, and RESTful APIs. This role involves delivering end-to-end SAP UI5 and SAP HANA implementations and working collaboratively across global teams with European time zone overlap. This opportunity is open to Canada-based developers who are passionate about building end-to-end enterprise applications using SAP UI5 and SAP HANA Cloud technologies. Youll collaborate with international teams while working from within Canada, with flexibility for remote or hybrid work.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop, troubleshoot, and enhance custom SAP UI5 applications using SAP Cloud Platform services, including Portal Service and Web IDE.

Design, build, and consume RESTful APIs (GET, POST, PUT) and OData services to integrate frontend with SAP HANA Cloud backend seamlessly.

Deliver at least two end-to-end SAP UI5 projects, ensuring scalable and maintainable application architecture.

Write complex PL/SQL and SAP HANA Cloud scripts, including stored procedures, tables, views, and functions to support backend logic and data processing.

Prepare technical design documents, unit test cases, and propose robust full-stack solutions.

Implement security, user authentication, authorization, data protection, and ensure compliance with accessibility and security standards.

Optimize applications for maximum speed, scalability, and reliability across the full stack.

Collaborate effectively within cross-functional teams to troubleshoot, debug, and enhance applications.

Utilize JavaScript for frontend development and backend scripting where necessary.

Use data modeling and visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau for enhanced analytics (preferred).

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Engineering degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.

5-8 years of hands-on experience in full-stack development with SAP BTP Cloud Foundry and SAP HANA Cloud backend.

Proven experience delivering at least two full lifecycle SAP UI5 implementations.

Strong expertise in PL/SQL and SAP HANA Cloud scripting and data modeling.

Skilled in building and consuming RESTful APIs and OData services.

Knowledge of SAP BTP Cloud Foundry and business application studio development environment.

Solid understanding of security, data protection, and accessibility compliance.

Excellent problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.

Willingness to work overlapping Canadian time zones
