Role Summary

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Inside Sales Coordinator to join our team in Toronto. This full-time, on-site role supports all aspects of lighting projects and customer relations. The Inside Sales Coordinator will play a key role in project coordination, technical support, and product customization, working closely with internal teams, representatives, and clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as a primary liaison for lighting project coordination and client support
• Provide technical assistance by communicating detailed product information to reps and clients
• Assist with product selection, design layouts, and lighting calculations
• Lead modification requests and produce updated specification sheets
• Sales support with quotes, shop drawings, and specification details
• Follow up on ongoing projects and ensure job closures are executed properly
• Conduct and participate in internal product training sessions
• Coordinate and schedule sample case training with representatives
• Arrange virtual showroom presentations for reps and clients

Qualifications & Skills

• Proficiency in AutoCAD, AGi32, and VISUAL lighting software
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with a proactive approach
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
• Ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining attention to detail
• Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
• Practical lighting design experience or relevant educational background (certificate/diploma/degree) is an asset
• Experience with sales software or CRM systems is an advantage
• Experience in virtual presentation is an asset
• Full fluency in English is essential

Requirements

• Prior experience in inside sales or customer-facing roles
• Electrical or lighting industry knowledge is an asset
• High school diploma required; post-secondary education preferred
