You will work independently with input from management, requiring little supervision, reliant on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Compensation Information: $32.01 to $36.01 per hour
Physical Requirement: Heavy; work activities involve handling loads up to 35kg; predominantly in an outdoor setting (in extreme heat and cold).
This job position requires physical presence at the designated location.

Skills you bring with you:
- Indentured Electrical Apprentice.
- Valid driver's license and abstract submitted annually.
- Willing and able to work in all weather conditions.
- Ability to work at heights.
- Good communication skills, self-motivated, dependable, timely and able to work well with others.
- Ability to operate snowmobiles, A.T.V.s and 4x4 trucks in a safe and responsible manner.
- Some familiarity with Electrical codes, CSA-Z98 code and the B.C. Safety Standards Act and Elevating devices regulations.
- Basic knowledge of current Work Safe BC regulations.
- Able to operate Passenger ropeways in a safe and responsible manner with training.
- Strong desire to develop a career in the ski industry.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Perform all duties assigned by the Electrical Supervisor or Department Manager in a timely fashion.
- Maintain a high level of regard for safety at all times.
- Assist in the electrical maintenance, trouble shooting, and installation duties on a wide variety of equipment in all areas of the resort.
- Assist in the troubleshooting of AC and DC drives and motors.
- Troubleshooting experience in PLC and Communication distributions is an asset however on the job training will be provided throughout the apprenticeship.
- Be aware of and perform duties in accordance with all Provincial and Federal electrical codes and regulations governing this position.
- Extend the highest degree of courtesy and respect in all dealings with SPRLLP management, staff, co-workers, and guests at all times.
- Be willing and eager to learn new things as directed by supervising journeyman.
- Keep a clean, organized and safe work environment.
- Keep good track of work and ensure records are kept up to date.
- Adhere to all SPRLLP policies as outlined in the current Employee Handbook.
- Keep up to date with changes to applicable company policies, SOG's, manufacturer's recommendations, bulletins, codes and regulations.
